Dining at the Homestay
Every meal here is a celebration of Rajasthani home cooking โ fresh, unhurried, and served with the same warmth Mamata and Leela bring to their own family table.
How the Table Comes Together
From the first cup of chai to the last lantern-lit thali, here's what a day of eating at the homestay looks like.
Chai & Home-Style Breakfast
Start with masala chai on the courtyard steps, followed by parathas, poha, or seasonal fruit and eggs on request โ a relaxed breakfast before the day's activities.
Village-Style Thali Lunch
A full thali of seasonal sabzis, dal, roti, rice, and pickle โ the same lunch the family eats, sized generously and refilled without asking.
Rooftop Dinner Under the Stars
Tables are laid on the rooftop as the desert sky darkens. Dinner is candle and lantern-lit, with dal baati churma available on request โ our signature dish, best shared.
Cook Alongside the Family
Join a hands-on cooking session in the village kitchen and take the recipes home with you โ ask at reception to add this to your stay.
